Due to its age, the music had to be kept in a special binder and couldn\u2019t be put on a scanner. I thought a bit on how to get the best images and ended up producing a step-by-step YouTube video. This solved his problem nicely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"How to Photograph Documents\" width=\"625\" height=\"352\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/l3aXW5ZKa9w?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>For the curious, here are the pictures I captured from the camera. First is the unedited \u201cdirect from camera\u201d shot.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/greg-kennedy.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSCF0060-300x225-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" src=\"https:\/\/greg-kennedy.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/DSCF0060-300x225-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-491\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>And here is the image after some PP (rotate, crop, convert to B&amp;W, adjust bright\/contrast, sharpen). Actually this is too much sharpening\u2026 but then this was just a quick test to see how well things could clean up with a little work.
